New Patients
New Patient with Acute Injury
Welcome to MBO!
We treat thousands of injuries every year and we can help you find relief.
If you are experiencing an emergency, call 911 and ask to be taken to an emergency room for evaluation.
If you have just suffered from an acute injury, make an appointment right away!
Many patients delay in making an appointment because they are not sure if their injury is serious enough to warrant an office visit. Delaying treatment can make your recovery more difficult. It's critical that you contact us as soon as possible to be seen and evaluated by one of our specialists.
We offer same-day appointments for severe injuries.
If your injury is severe, we can generally offer you an appointment on the same day at any of our three locations. As a full service orthopaedic practice, we can treat almost any type of injury in our offices. However, extremely serious injuries such as shoulder dislocations and hip injuries, in which the patient is unable to walk, should go directly to the emergency room.
Relieve pain and swelling right away
You should apply the RICE method to relieve pain and swelling immediately after an injury. RICE stands for Rest, Ice, Compression, and Elevation.

Tell us about your injury
In order to provide you with the best possible care we will need to know the following information:
- When and where did the injury happen?
- Did you go to the ER?
- Have you had X-Rays and, if so, where?
- Is it a work-related or auto-related injury?
- What kind of treatments or medication have you already taken for the injury?
